Parent Community Networking Center (PCNC)
The PCNC Parent Facilitator builds and sustains networks and partnerships among families, schools, community, and military. Volunteer opportunities are made available to our parents, family members, community, and military partners.
Families are encouraged to be involved by volunteering and supporting the students' learning environment. Opportunities are available through PCNC and PTA such as, parent workshops, coffee hours, family nights, fundraisers, and classroom help.
The PCNC Parent Facilitator helps to organize school activities that include our community. Some of the annual events are the American Heart Association Jump Rope for Heart, the AES Golf Tournament, the Military Appreciation Parade, and the Holiday and/or Spring Craft Fairs.
The PCNC Parent Facilitator establishes and facilitates our military partnerships. Currently, our military partners include CID Learning Site Hawaii, NIOC Hawaii, the USS Port Royal, the USS Chosin and the 747th Communications Squadron. Volunteers from these commands help our school with tutoring, reading in the classrooms, campus beautification, family nights, lunch with the students, and special school events.
